China Ruan Zhi Black ist ein Tee, der sofort sensorisch explodiert. Ein Schwarztee-Oolong, mit deutlich dominierenden Nuancen eines Oolong - basierend auf dem Cultivar Ruanzhi. Das Teeblatt ist rötlich-braun, länglich groß, leicht geöffnet. In der Produktion ist der erste 'yao qing' Schritt entscheidend für das nachhaltige Aroma. Langanhaltendes Rollen, Freiluftfermentation und zwei Trocknungsvorgänge bei unterschiedlicher Temperatur zeigen, wie aufwendig der Tee hergestellt ist: Und das schmeckt man auch.
